New Nerd LIVE

An After School League that focuses on computer science/coding +
personal development.

We provide a safe space for kids to engage, kick back, have fun, and learn 21st Century Skills NOT TAUGHT in most schools, yet is critical to thrive and be successful in today’s global economy.

The New Nerd LIVE Experience!

As featured in CBS Evening News “Cracking the Code,” our program is LIKE NO OTHER! It’s a “cool” intro to programming experience that is fun, interactive, and demystifies programming (aka “coding”) through fun puzzles. In this course, students will learn JavaScript fundamentals from the ground up.

Students will learn to write real JavaScript with fun, quick lessons. By the end of the program participants will be familiar with core programming concepts, be comfortable solving problems with code and be able to build a simple web page. Although students will learn JavaScript, the concepts apply to any programming language.

In addition to coding, students will learn short-term and long-term personal development strategies that will help them develop and sustain the necessary daily habits and discipline to navigate their journey into the computer science and technology space. The skills they learn can ultimately be applied to every aspect of their lives.

“If you can see it, You can be it”

Through CS Education and Personal Development lessons, our goal is for students to achieve: self confidence, overcome obstacles and difficult tasks, critical thinking, thinking things through, problem solving, goal setting, visualization, embracing possibilities, daily strategies, among others . . . all while engaging with Mentors who look like them.

Parents Love Our Program Too

Denise - Palo Alto, CA

“Our son has been introduced to coding classes before, even at his school (after-school extracurricular) and he seems to enjoy it. However, we are noticing a difference in his level of interest and we think a lot of this is due in part with someone he can identify with. The Friday inspirational talks with corporate leaders and celebrities is an excellent part of your program. We have nothing but great feedback for Dream Hustle Code. Last week Harrison passed from Level 1 to Level 2 in Grasshopper and Ian and the group celebrated his success. You guys are doing it right. Keep up the great work.”

Krystal - Land O Lakes, FL

“My son has become so interested in learning to code lately! He gets annoyed when I interrupt him for a picture. Kingsley was hesitant at first but after his first week, (and a little incentive) he logged on and got engaged on his own and has been doing great! He is more excited about it because of the mini boot camp interactions with Ian Brock @dreamhustlecode.

Thank you so much for being a good host, great leader, motivator, peer and influential part of my young King's life. He looks forward to coding and is never late! I'm impressed! I recommend all parents (of boys and girls) to enroll their child in their mini coding bootcamp!”

Carla - Brooklyn, NY

“Thank you for all the work you've done with Cayden so far, he thoroughly enjoys the class and looks forward to it everyday during this time of quarantine. Ian does a great job at delivering the information, helping and keeping the kids involved and entertained. Not to mention the weekly mentorship calls!!

I've actually been following @dreamhustlecode for a few months now, and wanted to get Cayden involved so when I saw this program start I was excited to sign up. What you guys are doing for our kids is amazing, I can't wait to see where this leads. Prayerfully we can make it to the next live event once the world is back to normal. You have a life long family out of us, because I'm recommending the program to everyone.”

Carissa - Dublin, CA

“This is such a blessing and appreciated. Evan is learning a lot and is enjoying the program. He looks forward to attending up until school starts back up.

Thank you again!”

Gabriela - South Elgin, IL

“You guys are doing a great job keeping kids engaged, focused, transitioning tasks, explaining and keeping the kids motivated. My son has focus issues and he is glued to the class! I have never seen him so excited and eager to learn. We really appreciate your class and leadership.”

Joy - Chicago, IL

“I want you to know that my son Jason has been excited every day to sign in at 12:30p to your virtual camp. You have really kept his spirits up with music, conversations, guest speakers and coding. I hope you continue doing what you do for many years to come!”
